Alocasia, have distinctive leaves and is a striking houseplant that adds a tropical flair to any indoor plant collection. While visually stunning, these plants do require specific care to thrive and do not like to dry out. Self-watering pots, and high humidity are ideal for new to alocasia collectors. 

Bright, Indirect Light: Alocasia prefers bright, indirect light. While they can tolerate some direct sunlight, too much can lead to leaf burn. Prefers plant lights or filtered sunlight.

Moderate Watering: Water your Alocasia when the top inch of soil feels dry, ensuring the plant receives consistent moisture. A heavier waterer Alocasia would ideally like a 3-5 day watering schedule depending on space humidity.
